The English Defence League (EDL) managed to gather together their largest crowd to date, filling the streets of Newcastle. Despite troubles at many recent events, todays event was largely well policed, and went of trouble free. What trouble there was, was quickly stamped out by the EDL's own marshalls and stewards.
